Vulfpeck is an American funk/soul band and musical collective formed by bandleader Jack Stratton (drums, piano, keyboards, guitar) in Ann Arbor, Michigan in 2011. Alongside Stratton, the band's founding members are Joe Dart (bass), Theo Katzman (drums, guitar, piano, keyboards, vocals), and Woody Goss (piano, keyboards, percussion). Other longtime members include Joey Dosik (saxophone, piano, keyboards, vocals), Cory Wong (guitar), Antwaun Stanley (vocals), and Jacob Jeffries (vocals, percussion), with Wong serving as the band's musical director.
The band has released six studio albums, four extended plays, a compilation, and two live albums through their own record label. The band gained recognition in 2014 for releasing Sleepify, a silent album that exposed a loophole in Spotify's royalty distribution and funded an admission-free tour. The band was one of the first to sell out Madison Square Garden without a manager or backing label, and released the recorded performance as a live album in 2019. The band's most recent album, MSG II, was released in December 2025.
