With a soulful voice and heartfelt devotion, Takie has become a renowned figure in South Africa's Gospel music scene, inspiring countless lives through his music.
Since 2013, Takie's distinctive voice and spirit-filled music have resonated globally, leaving an indelible mark on the gospel industry. His latest masterpiece, 'The Glory' (2024), is a powerful album that uplifts, inspires, and transforms lives.
This soul-stirring collection of new well written and produced songs showcases Takie’s heartfelt devotion, proclaiming the majesty and Glory of God,with features from Tanzanian gospel artists like Bella Kombo and Zvororo, this album is set to cross borders.
Since joining Spirit of Praise in 2018, Takie has blessed audiences with hits like "Una Ndavha", "Jesus Is Mine", "Nne Ndi Shumela" “Riyavhalosha” and recently "O Dzulaho
Takie has over the years collaborated with various gospel artists, both locally and internationally. The likes of Bishop Benjamin Dube, Rofhiwa Manyaga, Dr Rebecca Malope, Putuma Tiso to name a few locally. In the recent years through Gospel Goes Classic which he joined in 2018, he has collaborated and shared stages with Vashawn Mitchel (USA), William McDowell (USA), Folu (Nigeria) and Jonah Chivasa (Zimbabwe).
