Polyester Shock has been in existence since 1999. They are from Belgrade, Serbia. From the very beginning they have been building a clear style in musical, visual and stage performance: a fusion of garage rock'n'roll of the '60s, sounds of the Detroit/New York scene of the '60s and the '70s (MC5, The Stooges, New York Dolls, Ramones, The Cramps...), passed through their unique creative filter, brought a new energy to the audience in Belgrade that year, who, obviously intrigued, responded with an unparalleled turnout (for a band without a record) at their gigs in Belgrade's night clubs. Coupled with their HIGH-ENERGY RnR, the band presents an unusual (for Belgrade) visual spectacle. Their first album STEREO has been released in November 2007,on AUTOMATIC label. All lyrics (in the Serbian language) and music are original creations of the band. So far, POLYESTER SHOCK have made ten high-budget videos, all of which have hit high positions (and have stayed there for quite a while) on the charts of TV stations in Region (MTV ADRIA, TV METROPOLIS, STUDIO B, IBC, MTS, NS1, RTV PANCEVO...) while, at the same time, their audio recordings are broadcast by all relevant radio stations.
