METALVERSE is a Japanese kawaii-metal group formed in 2023, being a support act for BABYMETAL both at BABYMETAL RETURNS and BABYMETAL BEGINS in January and April 2023 respectively. At this point, METALVERSE was commonly referred to by fans as "Chibi BABYMETAL", as they had performed covers of BABYMETAL songs.
At Summer Sonic 2023 in Tokyo, METALVERSE made their first appearance as an independent group where they performed three songs as an opening act for the Mountain Stage. METALVERSE is formed of five members, the lead singer being Miko Todaka, with dancers Sakia Kimura, Kokona Kato, Miki Yagi and Yume Nozaki. .
