When I was 15 months old, I drank lye and bleach, burning my insides from mouth to stomach. Doctors gave me a 2-year life expectancy. My insides were rebuilt, but my voice was taken. I grew up non-speaking — yet still hearing the rhythm of the world. People told me “you can’t do that” my whole life. I’ve faced discrimination beyond skin color, been lied on, counted out, and doubted at every turn. But doubt never stopped me — it only pushed me harder.
I’m a mixologist DJ with over 600 mix CDs online and in the streets, and over a million spins/downloads on NerveDJsMixtapes.com. My blends are seamless, my transitions flawless, and my ear for timing keeps crowds locked in. I rep the underground and every artist fighting to be heard.
I’m also a ghostwriter and producer. I’ve written R&B ballads, street anthems, Southern Soul records, and music for commercials and events. Some of the songs you hear on my YouTube page are written by me for myself — but I don’t tell you who’s singing them, how they were recorded, or the story behind them. The music is the message.
To me, songwriting is more than words — it’s survival. It’s my way to speak when the world thought I had no voice. It’s how I tell stories of love, struggle, street life, redemption, and hope.
