1. Arod is a D.I.Y. alternative rock artist with a 2D anime-like vampire sona. An encompassing audio-visual project with a fictional band lore.
Once in the 21st century, there was a person with pointy canine teeth, elf-like ears, funny-looking permanent green bangs and irises that are seemingly shaped like stars. No one knows his age nor birthday, even he does not bother finding out. But he has spent most of his life in the arts, writing stories and songs.
Arod's upcoming album "Fang Fiction" is his own take in the alternative sound— "badbye" is noise-rock/grunge adjacent; "temporary dream girl" takes influences from Cocteau Twins and Slowdive's dream pop sound; while "sleepy eyes" is the most experimental among the tracks: a fusion of emo-pop, jazz and new wave; "internet vampire" is shoegaze with fast-driven beats often described as "cybergaze" because of its dystopian/cyberpunk themes; "drive my car" is a futuristic goth/dark wave anthem. .
